Holistic, relationship based doula care for your birth journey.
Becoming a parent is sacred, intimate, and profoundly transformative. It can also be a time of confusion, doubt, and loud opinions to navigate. As your doula, I bring a calm and steady presence, so you can feel safe, supported, and confident navigating your experience as it unfolds.
My goal is for you and your partner to feel seen, heard and confident in your birth journey. I offer guidance and support along the way, but ultimately remind you to keep coming back to your own inner compass.
Because after all, you know your baby and your body better than anyone.

Holistic doula support
My doula support philosophy comes from a quantum perspective, meaning I blend both ancient wisdom and modern science to provide grounded, relationship-based care that honors your birth birth as a sacred rite of passage.

childbirth preparation
Childbirth preparation is about way more than making a birth plan, curating a playlist, and packing a hospital bag. My 8-week childbirth prep series covers everything you need to prepare for birth - from physiology, birth planning, pain management, and more. But most importantly, this preparation teaches you how to keep coming back to your own inner wisdom.

You might be wondering...
What makes you different than other doulas?
I believe birth is more than a means to an end. It is a sacred rite of passage.
I am a quantum, holistic doula trained by Birth Becomes You and Whapio (The Matrona). My approach blends modern science with ancient wisdom. I provide evidence, information, and guidance, but ultimately I will encourage you to continue coming back to your own intuition to make the decisions that are right for you and your baby. Because after all, you will be the one continuing to make decisions as you raise your child - so practicing this skill now is paramount.
While I have experience in multiple settings and types of birth, including home births (yes, even in Nebraska), I have attended enough births to know that each one is unique. Having an open mind and open heart allows me to hold space for your unique journey, no matter how it unfolds.
In addition to being a certified doula, I am also a certified birth photographer and offer professional birth photos to all of my doula clients. Witnessing and documenting birth stories is integral to how I support as a doula.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — absolutely. I recognize that birth support and documentation is a significant investment, and 99% of my clients take advantage of flexible payment options. You’re welcome to spread your payments out monthly, or we can create a custom plan that fits your budget and due date.
I also offer a registry option so your community can contribute toward your birth support or documentary package. Many families love this because it replaces gifts that will be used once with support and memories that last a lifetime.
Finally, many HSA/FSA plans will reimburse for doula services. There is also a workplace benefit called "Carrot" that will reimburse for doula services (reach out to your employer to see if they offer this benefit). Reach out if you have questions about how this works.
What types of births do you support?
All births. Every birth and every birthing person is different. Whether that’s a home birth (yes, even in Nebraska), hospital birth, medicated, unmedicated, planned induction, or cesarean - however your baby enters the world is valid. My role is to honor your values, support your decisions, and help you feel grounded and informed throughout the entire experience.
Are you certified?
Yes. I hold multiple certifications as both a birth doula and birth photographer, through Birth Becomes You, The Beauty in Birth, and Still Birthday.
I am also a Monitrice-in-Training with Whapio & The Matrona. I am a lifelong learner, and birth is truly my passion and calling.
However, I believe wholeheartedly that certification isn’t what makes a doula effective. Birth work is rooted in intuition, presence, attunement, and the ability to tune into the unique needs of each client in each moment. It's also a relationship - and the connection you have with a particular doula is far more important than their certification.
Are you a faith based doula?
I am a deeply spiritual person who honors the sacredness and transformational power of birth. I don’t follow a specific religion, but I warmly welcome and hold space for whatever beliefs, practices, or values are meaningful to you. I have several Christian/Catholic clients who really enjoy working with me.
That said, if having a Christian faith-based doula specifically is really important to you, I’m happy to offer recommendations.
When should I hire a doula?
The sooner the better. Most families hire their doula by the second or beginning of the third trimester so we have time to get to know each other, build your birth plan, and prepare for your experience.
Because birth timing is unpredictable, I only take 2–3 births per month to ensure every client receives the presence and attention they deserve. If you’re considering doula support, reaching out early helps secure your spot.
If I hire a doula, what will my partner do?
I’m here to support both of you! My goal is to help your partner feel confident, included, and prepared, so they can show up in the ways you need most. I don’t replace partners—I empower them. I know birth really well, and they know you really well - so together, we make an excellent team to support you through the birth process.
Do you travel?
I travel for births up to 2 hours outside of Lincoln for a limited number of clients each year. Availability depends on the season, weather, and my existing client load for your due window, but I love serving families throughout Nebraska (and occasionally beyond). If you’re outside my radius or due during a busy month, we can talk through options that still allow for meaningful support.
Do you support LGBTQ+ families?
Yes—wholeheartedly. I am an inclusive doula who supports all families with respect, love, and awareness of the unique challenges marginalized populations can face—especially in medical settings. Your identity, your family structure, and your story are honored here. You are safe, supported, and celebrated.
How do you balance birth photography & doula support?
I am a certified birth photographer and certified doula with Birth Becomes You - the leading educators for "doulatogs" (those who are in the doula+photographer role). That means I have a unique set of skills, training, and experience that allows me to move seamlessly between roles. Many of my clients want to keep their birth teams small and intimate, so hiring one professional for both roles is appealing and often more budget friendly.
Still have questions?
I offer a free, no-obligation consultation so you can get to know me and ask all your burning questions. The first step is to reach out to see if your due date is available. If it is, we'll hop on a video chat or meet up for coffee/tea to see if we're a good fit.
